October Update: This quarter we are reading and discussing "What If Everyone Lived Next Door to Jesus?" by Gary Stone, a missionary who served in Ecuador and Australia and is currently still serving in Guatemala with his wife. It is a collection of stories with insight into a missionary's life but primarily with intent to leading the reader to think about how they would live their life, i.e. make an impact on their world, if they lived like Jesus was their next door neighbor.
A sign-up sheet is on the opportunity board in the old Fellowship Hall for those who want to order a book through the club. The cost will be about $20.00. If you want to order your book with the club you must sign up for a book by September 27 and they will be delivered the Wednesday or Sunday after so that you have time to read before our meeting on October 29 at 7:00. If you want to purchase the book yourself it is available at Lifeway and most other major bookstores and also online. Everyone is invited to read and/or come to discuss this insightful book with us but ladies in the Women's Mission groups may be particularly interested as this book is the featured book in October's Shades of REaD book club in Missions Mosaic
